Hopefully we are able to provide all the information you require on this website, but if not, please do not hesitate to call or email us with your questions. 17th Street Cafe is a full service restaurant established in 1989, since then it has been faithfully serving delicious New American cuisine to generations of Santa Monica residents as well as visitors from all around. The restaurant's longevity is as much a testament to the quality of food and service it provides, as it is a statement about the loyal spirit of our beach town community. With the help of our executive chef Justin Bender, the menu is classic and innovative all at once, boasting a large selection of foods, from decadent salads, pizzas and burgers to finer items such as various steak cuts and seafood, as well as "comfortfood" staples like Chicken Pot Pie, Beef Stroganoff and so many more. Then of course there is the coffee, we use only the finest beans provided by the famous Intelligentsia Coffee Group, a cup of Joe this good is hard to find. A diverse expertly selected Wine List is offered with Lunch and Dinner. Lastly we are an in house Bakery, supervised by the famous Beverlywood Bakery on Pico blvd., all our breads, pizza dough, desserts and baked goods are prepared on site. We are able to fulfill custom orders for everything from specialty cakes, to cookie trays, cupcakes and more. Our innovative FatFree cupcakes are a real treat, at about 100 calories each they are as delicious as any cupcake you ever had and have gained some fame around town, especially after having been featured on CBS News as well as the New Year's episode of Doctors!
17th Street Cafe has a Private dining room with the capacity of 25-30 people, this space is perfect for intimate dinners, smaller wedding receptions, birthday parties and baby showers, we do it all.
