Welcome to Seventeenth Street Cafe & Bakery on Montana Ave As we continue our 20th year at Seventeenth Street Cafe & Bakery, we are proud to announce that we have more varieties of food than ever before! The restaurant has a new and polished look from its recent renovation. We also have a full line of fresh baked goodies (all homemade here!) like chocolate and cinnamon Rugalah, black and whites, butter cookies, homemade scones and many more rotating varieties.
Just to reiterate "Jack is back" and he has a partner, Lenny Rosenberg, who is personally baking all these fine treats for the store. He is what many call a "restaurateur". Lenny formerly owned Mayer's Bakery (Palos Verdes, CA) and the Nosh Of Beverly Hills, among many other places!
If you have any suggestions, or if you'd just like to say "hello" please ask for Lenny.
We offer Lenny's famous Matzo Brie! This specialty dish is a homemade omelette with whipped eggs, milk and delicious egg matzo. Another new addition is our egg challah breads, baked daily. At breakfast and brunch we offer a tasty French toast challah bread entreé.
Don't hesitate to ask for a sample of our new baked goods! Keep us in mind for special occassion pastries, cakes and any other items you may need.
